Why does it have to feel awkward writing something about yourself on this gosh-darn-it Interweb thingy (and me, an IT professional!) , but here goes!... I'm an Aussie living in the UK now for nigh on 12 years, and loving it down here in lovely Devon. Wonderful village I've found myself in, full of characters you couldn't make up!...where we all look after each other...and close enough to work and town (Exeter) to be super convenient. Work is work, but I don't live to work! My big passion is music - played guitar since I was 8...done the whole 'rock star' thing...but I just teach guitar now, which I love more than bacon - and that's saying something! I'm quite an open-minded musical soul, but I will probably leave the room if the dulcet tones of almost any boy/girl 'band' begin to infiltrate my ears! I do have a penchant for the heavier side of the musical spectrum, from classic to modern rock/metal, southern rock, blues rock....I could go on...and if you let me at any point, I probably will! Never done the whole online dating thing before so please bear with me as I work out how this all works,,,and be gentle!....and so I continue.... No real ties other than my job, which I love, and my teaching...so I'm fairly flexible. Try to find time to keep myself fit and healthy - gym 2-3 times a week, but certainly not gym-obsessed. Try to ensure I enjoy myself on weekends, catching up with the local goings-on and discovering more about my little corner of the world. I'm very keen to see more and more of the UK...it's my home now so it seems the right thing to do! But saying that, I am quite a nester ;-)...own my own house and proud of the little life I've feathered here...but who can tell what the future holds?
